What's New in MusicHarbor for iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma
MusicHarbor 4.6.8 brings new features for iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma including interactive widgets, support for StandBy mode on the iPhone, support for Lock Screen widgets on the iPad, and more. It also introduces a brand new playback experience for music videos.
Interactive Widgets
iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma are getting new interactive widgets: Releases, where you can dive into the latest and upcoming music releases, and Charts, giving you statistics on new music releases right on your Home Screen and Desktop.
Additionally, iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma gained an exclusive extra-large widget called Calendar. It's an interactive calendar for music releases that lets you see what was released on each day of the month.
Lock Screen Widgets
Small widgets have been redesigned to support the iPad's Lock Screen, giving you glanceable information about the latest music releases.
StandBy Mode
MusicHarbor widgets also support the new StandBy mode on the iPhone, giving you a full-screen experience designed to be viewed from a distance when the iPhone is on its side and charging.
TipKit
MusicHarbor now shows tips about features you may not know about. This can be seen in Calendar view, for example, which informs that you can swipe to check out other releases on that same day.
New Playback Experience
Dive into music videos from your favorite artists using a fresh playback interface. The new Preview All New feature lets you preview all new music videos at once.
And, inside an artist's profile, you can watch all their music videos of a specific type.
Additional Charts
The Top Genres chart now shows eight of your top music genres of the year in a pie-style format.
