What’s New in MusicSmart for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and tvOS 18
MusicSmart 2.1.0 supports the latest features introduced in iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and tvOS 18. It offers controls for viewing music credits in the redesigned Control Center, includes new app icons that match your Home Screen style, and deeply integrates with Spotlight to get ready for the upcoming Apple Intelligence semantic index.
It also brings an innovative App Shortcut that allows you view liner notes and credits for the currently playing song anywhere in the system, and uses the new Translate APIs to offer liner notes in the user’s preferred language.
The Apple TV app also gets a major redesign with a new tab view for switching between Trending Songs, Now Playing, and Search.

You can touch and hold tracks to preview their liner notes (figure 2). Tapping a track or artist will take you to the corresponding page in MusicSmart.
Translate
Liner notes, artist bio, and podcast descriptions can now be translated using Apple’s built-in Translate framework.
Apple TV tvOS 18
